Issues To Solve:
1. Speed:
Businesses are more and more relying on the smooth flow of data among employees and customers. When transferring files over the Internet, the ever-increasing bandwidth can't catch up with the speed of ever-increasing file sizes.
2. Realibility:
When using FTP or IM or Email to transfer files, it is not 100% reliable and no automatic digital receipt for the success of the file transferred. Sometimes, after a long waiting to find out that the received files are broken.
3. Audit Log:
In some situations, the transfer history is of importance. Common file transferring methods, IM, Email, FTP, etc.,can't provide the necessary audit function.
VNN-FileExpress solves the above issues.
To use VNN-FileExpress, you can select VNN-FileExpress from the UI.
After that, you will see the VNN-FE UI as below:
After login with your VNN ID, you will be able to use the VNN-FileExpress functions.
VNN-FE works in two modes. One is called Direct-Transfer and the other is Auto-Transfer.
Direct-Transfer works similar to the Windows Network Neighborhood. On the left side is the disks on your PC and on the right side is a list of the VNN IDs of your VNN account. By double-click any VNN ID that is online at the moment, you can browse its shared files and folders. By default, there are two catagories. One is for uploading and downloading and the other is for downloading only. You can use VNN-FE UI to create more catagories as you wish.
The Direct-Transfer is suitable to share files with one PC at a time. You can transfer both files and folders.
The Auto-Transfer mode allows you to transfer files with multiple PCs at the one time. You can create Tasks and specify the time, date or weekly task, with each task having its own priority.
All the file transferred are logged in the History UI.
